Welcome! I am excited to share the joys and rewards of moving more mindfully and savoring life with focused attention.
I began studying and practicing Tai Chi, Qigong, Yoga, and Meditation more than 20 years ago. These ancient practices have helped me navigate life's inevitable challenges and pause to enjoy it's many beauties and celebrations.
I look forward to learning, practicing, and building a mindful community with you.

ABOUT

At heart I am forever a student, an educator, and an adventurer. I love learning and exploring and sharing ideas and experiences with others. I am passionate about cultivating the skills and conditions that build resilience: awareness, self-regulation, connection, competence, and gratitude.
Ancient teachings guide my personal practice and now science is catching up with evidence to confirm what we have long known: moving mindfully and strengthening focused attention have measurable positive health effects mentally, emotionally, and physically.
I have been studying how to facilitate meditation and yoga practices since 2012. My interests and experience include sharing strategies for managing stress and anxiety and increasing focus and attention with youth and families in school and community settings. I completed my 200 hour Yoga Teacher Certification through Pranakriya School of Yoga and an additional 150 hour Yoga Teacher and Social Emotional Learning Facilitator Certification with Breathe for Change. I am currently enrolled in Tara Brach and Jack Kornfield's two year intensive Mindfulness Meditation Teacher Certification Program.
I am especially intrigued with all three organizations' commitment to honoring the roots of yoga and meditation while building communities that are more welcoming and accessible to people from all backgrounds and identities.
I welcome your partnership and feedback along the way.
